The Chief Medical Director of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, Dr. Stephen Terungwa Hwande, had on Monday, 11th March, 2024, allocated offices to the newly employed staff of the hospital.

The CMD who was in company of some principal staff of the hospital urged the staff to make the most of the office spaces allocated to them. While emphasizing on the necessity of a decent working environment for enhanced productivity, he reiterated that the appointment of more staff was required for full services and warned that loitering would not be tolerated. Dr. Hwande reminded the new employees that their appointments were provisional and would be terminated should any of them be found wanting.

The CMD assured of his readiness to make their working conditions conducive and appealed for corresponding commitment on the part of the new staff in order for the hospital to witness exponential growth in all its services.

In their separate responses, Sesugh Dambeki (Finance Department) and Zipporah Abenga (Admin Department) expressed happiness for the provision of the office accommodation and pledged to be committed in discharging their official duties for the achievement of the core mandate of the hospital.
