The Chief Medical Director of Benue State University Teaching Hospital Dr. Stephen Hwande has charged students of Fr. Tansi Academy Makurdi to be hard working and devoted to their studies in order to become great in life.

Dr. Hwande who gave the charge on Tuesday 7th May 2024, when some teachers and students of the school visited him in his office counseled them to choose their careers in areas they have passion for.

He encouraged those intending to make careers in medicine to concentrate and pass the five major science subjects, adding that with right attitudes and passion for saving lives, they could become doctors or members of other health care professions.

The CMD encouraged them to have role models and mentors after who to pattern their dreams and be prepared to study very hard as medical courses require much reading.

Earlier, the leader of the team, Mrs. Stella Wuanor congratulated the CMD on his appointment and said the School was proud to identify with him on his developmental strides, and prayed God to protect and guide him.
